Sunday Dinner The Taste of Newfoundland
Sunday Dinner The Taste of Newfoundland
Sunday Dinner Seasoning is a delicate blend my husband Perry. He grew up in Red Harbour, Newfoundland.
His love of gravies, and wholesome food is why I have this business today! Every dish that he ever loved from my kitchen, he asked me to write down and now here we are!
I thought this would be a nice way to honour Perry as well as making these Newfoundlander flavors more accessible to all Canadians.
You can use this for your homemade salad dressings, dips, I love to melt butter and bloom the spices and pour it over corn on the cob! Best of all you can add it to your turkey stuffing or in a gravy for all your special celebrations around your table.
French fries and mashed potatoes for your Sunday Dinner with Roast beef. Some people like to use it with fish, as well as a steak seasoning. Me if using it on steak please add sea salt.
Try thsi seasoning as a seasoning to a flat bread pizza sauce and you won't beleive how gorgeous it tastes in homemade burger patties. I love to make onion mashed potatoes as a nest to my burger patty and throw some gravy on there with the seasoning. Delish.
Summer Savory, is a Newfoundlanders favorite herb for their "Fries, Dressing and Gravy!" This Blend has natural flavors of lemon, garlic, onion and a few other secrets.
Contains: Summery Savory, Herbs and Spices. Does not contain Mustard seeds, or seafood products.. yet you can add it to your salmon, poultry, gravies and stuffin.
Good old home cookin! Add a tsp or two to your dish and all I can say is yum!
